Long time, no talk, Friends!
To be quite frank, the past 365 days have proved to be some of the most trivial I have endured in my short life, however, looking back, there is so much good to be accounted for. As 2016 comes to a close, I can’t help but marvel at all that this year has brought forth.
In 2016, my high school soccer team traveled to State for the second consecutive year. I became an adult (technically, but not really) and graduated high school. I meandered my way to various spots across the good ol’ Sunshine State, as well as,Tennessee, Arkansas, and Alabama. I received a long awaited acceptance to the University of Florida and will enter as a Junior just six months post-high school grad. Annnnnd I started this little corner of the Internet – The Punctuated P.
With ALL of this said, I have rounded up my favorite Instagram posts, as well as, a few that didn’t quite make it to the ‘gram, to recap this year.
Some of my favorite beach days are those spent in January, where it’s just chilly enough that linen pants are more suitable. 🙂
LOVE LOVE LOVE these girls!
This is truly one of my favorite days to date. Mom + I decided to head down to the beach on a whim, rented cruisers from a local marina and truly enjoyed our coveted FL.
A pineapple a day keeps the doctor away… 🙂
Hard to believe that this was my very last prom…ever!
Love this shot Mallory grabbed of Tori and I. #SoulSista
I could not get enough of this suit this year, especially for under $15 at H&M! I’ve linked a couple suits similar below.
The tassel was worth the hassle… 😉
The infamous leap of faith when skim boarding!
My family and I stayed at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville Resort in Hollywood Beach, Florida, this summer and their adult pool was on the eleventh floor overlooking the ocean. Absolutely breathtaking!
Fun Fact: I am actually a horrendous golf player. Ha!
When life gives you lemons, go to the Don!
It’s always a treat when Zoe gets to come visit from Louisiana, especially when it’s Fourth of July weekend at the Don. 😉
When I visited Tennessee this summer, it was my first time ever seeing mountains. So, incredibly beautiful!
Alex & I at Ober in Gatlinburg. So crazy to think we will be celebrating four years together in a few months!
Briar Patches + Black Berries
Sweet, Summer blooms.
As mentioned in a few posts back, mom, her sweet friend Racquel, and I flew up to see Tori’s first home game as a Hog. Here’s a quick selfie mom & I snapped before heading to the game!
Two words: Lobster Corndog. Need I say more?
The Luke’s Diner pop-up shops were so, stinkin’ cute!
Perhaps my favorite day of the entire year. Nikki & I (who have been BFFs since diapers, literally) road-tripped to Orange Beach, Alabama, to surprise & watch Tori play in the SEC Championship vs. Florida. How often do you get to road trip with one BFF to go watch your other BFF compete in the SEC Championship?! Love. Love. Love.
Macaroons with Mickey at Walt Disney World’s Epcot!
Casey’s Corner is an absolute Magic Kingdom must!
Thank you, 2016, for such a great run.
Here’s to a Happy Happy Happy New Year, y’all!
